We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to be a part of our team in The Woodlands, Texas. The primary function of this role is to manage account reconciliation tasks, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations. You will also be involved in general ledger tasks and will be an integral part of the team in our industry.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the process of account reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy

• Conducting balance sheet reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records

• Handling bank reconciliations to ensure all financial transactions are accounted for

• Managing general ledger tasks for efficient accounting operations

• Creating and posting journal entries to keep track of all business transactions

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting

• Leading month end close processes to ensure timely financial reporting

• Working with Oracle for efficient financial management and reporting.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation is essential.

• Experience with balance sheet reconciliation is required.

• Must have experience conducting bank reconciliations.

• Knowledge of general ledger functions and procedures.

• Ability to prepare and post journal entries accurately.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.

• Experience with month-end close procedures is a must.

• Familiarity with Oracle Financial Software is preferred.
