Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Senior Accountant with 5+ years of experience in the commercial insurance industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a hungry and eager professional ready to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will have expertise in month-end close, financial preparation, and reconciliations. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required, CPA a plus. This role offers a hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.

Responsibilities:

+ Manage month-end close processes and prepare accurate financial statements.

+ Perform account reconciliations and ensure financial accuracy.

+ Analyze and maintain detailed financial records specific to the commercial insurance industry.

+ Collaborate with internal teams to optimize accounting processes and reporting.

+ To maintain compliance with any applicable US or International statutory or regulatory obligation as required by the role.

Qualifications:

+ 5+ years of accounting experience within the commercial insurance industry.

+ Knowledge of SAP preferred.

+ Solid knowledge of month-end close, financial preparation, and account reconciliations.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.

+ Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
