Java Senior Technical Lead

**Cognizant Technology Solutions** is looking for a Java Senior Technical Lead with proven experience. The ideal candidate will lead all aspects of the development and implementation of Java-based applications. This role involves leading a team of developers, ensuring the quality and performance of the software, and collaborating with collaborators to meet project goals. This role is critical for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative software solutions that meet business needs and technical standards.

Please note that position is HYBRID (4 days onsite; 1 remote) in Saint Louis, MO. and you should be able to go Onsite or willing to relocate.

Roles and Responsibilities/Qualifications

+ Experience: 10+ years exp. of demonstrated ability in full stack development, including a minimum of 2 years in a lead role.

+ Java Expertise: Proficient in Java programming, with extensive experience using Java 17.

+ Front-End Technologies: Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React

+ Back-End Technologies: Experience with back-end frameworks such as Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, Hibernate, and RESTful API development.

+ Database Management: Proficient in database design and management using SQL and NoSQL databases.

+ DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud services.

+ Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to optimally convey technical concepts.

+ Teammate: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to the success of the organization.

Salary and Other Compensation** **:

Applications will be accepted until May 11th, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $70,000 - $110,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
