• Accounts Payable Manager

    Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to support a short-term project for a well-established non-profit organization in Baltimore, Maryland. This is a contract position that requires expertise in streamlining processes and ensuring accurate financial documentation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the automation of accounts payable workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.

    • Oversee the documentation of existing processes and recommend improvements.

    • Manage data processing tasks to ensure timely and accurate handling of financial records.

    • Implement accrual accounting practices to align with organizational standards.

    • Utilize NetSuite software to manage accounts payable functions effectively.

    • Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for process enhancements.

    • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and financial regulations.

    • Provide guidance and training to team members on updated accounts payable procedures.

    • Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders.

    • Resolve discrepancies and issues related to accounts payable transactions. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable management within a setting that requires attention to detail.

    • Strong knowledge of accrual accounting principles.

    • Proficiency in using NetSuite or similar financial management software.

    • Expertise in process documentation and improvement strategies.

    • Demonstrated ability to automate financial processes.

    • Excellent data processing skills with attention to detail.

    • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.

    • Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
