TITLE: Senior Area Manager

DUTIES: We seek a Senior Area Manager, based out of our office at 1849 Brevard Road, Arden, NC 28704. Note, this position does not require travel.

Lead operational execution to optimize production functions; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance, while prioritizing daily production targets and implementing long-term growth and improvement strategies as defined by the designee or the Plant Manager; Accountable for the safety, talent, delivery, cost, and quality production for turbo products with strategic oversight from Plant Manager or designee; Ensure a safe work environment by conducting root cause analysis for all safety related incidents within manufacturing area; Plan, design, optimize, and evaluate existing and future processes, as well as, their operational implementation in the production areas according to lean management guidelines; Develop monthly forecasts and annual budget for review with leadership team; Ensure positive employee relations and employee engagement; Drive talent development within production by providing coaching, direction, and feedback to the production team; Ensure adequate training and documentation of such, to ensure successful performance of operator's job duties to meet safety and quality expectations; Oversee all departmental activities in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws; Ensure consistent execution of departmental disciplinary actions, corrective actions, and terminations.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, or Industrial Engineering and 48 months of experience in job offered or related position in automotive manufacturing operations management.

Required experience must include: Experience managing lean manufacturing processes / procedures; Experience working with Tier 1 automotive suppliers; Experience with turbo manufacturing and assembly.
