+ The instructor will instruct students in skilled and technical programs to a diverse population in business, industry and manufacturing.

+ The successful applicant will be expected to implement course materials that support initiatives to help achieve learning outcomes for each course offered.

+ Ability to administer tests and evaluate students' progress in attaining goals and objectives.

+ Maintain program certification requirements in the field of instruction.

+ Requires strong computer skills, communication skills, and ability to interact effectively with a diverse student population.

+ Teaches courses in Commercial Truck Driving in a classroom/lab/field environment that closely simulates the environment of the industry while maintaining knowledge of current trends and developments in the field.

+ Provides instruction in the theory and practical applications of commercial truck driving; establishes, measures, and evaluates program or departmental student learning outcomes for continuous student improvement and success.

+ Meet with students, staff members, and other educators to discuss students' instructional programs and other issues impacting the progress of the students.

Minimum qualifications for this position will be determined by the teaching discipline and compliance with appropriate accrediting bodies. Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the course assigned
