    Position Title: Business System Analyst

     

    Position Location: hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 remotely

     

    Pittsburgh PA

     

    Cleveland OH

     

    Birmingham AL

     

    Farmers Branch, TX

     

    Position Duration: 9 months

     

    Industry background: Financial / banking highly preferred

     

    Team Dynamic: Team consists of 5 developers , 2 testers , 1 product owner, 1 Scrum Master

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria and backlog items to guide development teams through sprints.

    • Translate business needs into clear system specifications and support the design of software solutions.

    • Collaborate with the testing teams to ensure test cases are aligned with business requirements and user stories, and support UAT processes.

    • Experience with business process mapping and system documentation.

    • Proficient in using Jira.

    • Understanding of APIs.

    • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.

    Must Have Technical Skills:

    1. Develop/maintain user stories

    2. Translating business into process flows

    3. Able to collaborate with testing teams and support UAT processes

    4. Understanding of APIs

    Flex Skills/Nice to Have:

    1. Jira

    2. Technical understanding KAFKA/Java

    3. Ability to understand database queries
