    Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Material Handler jobs in Bedford Park, IL. These Material Handler jobs are temp-to-hire opportunities.

     

    Material Handler jobs require candidates to load and unload, assures that all production and shipping orders are filled timely, and work in a safe and efficient manner within a Warehouse environment. If you meet the qualifications listed below – Apply Now!

     

    **Shift:** Monday-Friday, 8:00AM – 4:30PM (May be required to work any shift, Saturday and/or Sunday.)

    **Pay:** $ 20.00/hr.

    Responsibilities for Material Handler jobs include but are not limited to:

    • Required to perform cycle-counting.

    • Completes and inputs all required shipment documentation, preparing all paperwork.

    • Reviews material for proper marking, placarding and labeling

    • Loads, unloads, and stores finished products, raw materials, supplies, and containers.

    • Assures that all production and shipping orders are filled timely, in accordance with required standards, and properly recorded in computer systems.

    • Picks orders and moves material to designated staging areas.

    • Reviews material for all customer and government requirements and attaches any required shipping information.

    • Responsible for ongoing site cleanliness & good housekeeping practices.

    • Final sign-off & certification for completion of loads preparation.

    Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for Material Handler jobs:

    • Must be able to read, write, and speak English (High School education or equivalent).

    • Must pass a forklift driver skills test.

    • Must be capable of using desk AND hand-held computer equipment.

    • Must work in a safe manner.

    • Must have 1 year experience as a Packager/Utility Operator of equivalent industrial experience.

    • Required to lift at least 50 pounds

    **Pay Details:** $20.00 per hour
