    WE NEED MS OFFICE/ OUTLOOK TEST SCORES PLEASE PUT THEM ON RESUME FOR REVIEW. Primarily remote acceptable. Onsite support at Thousand Oaks campus may be required: Mission Week in October VP visits approx. once a month may require 1-2 days on-site Open to East Coast candidates but must manage West Coast hours when needed. Standard working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PT Target start date: Early June ideally June 2 for onboarding and overlap before leave. No start before June. Projected end date: Early December may extend to Amgens year-end shutdown. 6-month duration but could slightly flex. The ideal candidate would have past experience at AMGEN and prior experience supporting VP or executive-level leaders and be highly skilled in managing multiple complex calendars using Outlook. They must be proficient in booking international and domestic travel through Concur with a strong preference for candidates familiar with Amgen systems and workflows. Exceptional multitasking organization and proactive problem-solving are essential to keep pace with a fast-moving high-demand team. The candidate must also be tech-savvy with Microsoft Office especially Outlook and Excel and possess excellent communication skills to coordinate seamlessly across stakeholders including a UK-based VP under Amgens Medical department. Job Details: Primarily responsible for managing multiple and/or complex calendars coordinate domestic/international travel arrangements and expense reporting. Will also manage complex administrative support activities and occasionally assisting supervisor in coordination of management issues. Additional responsibilities include independently coordinating calendared meetings complex onsite/offsite meetings leading administrative projects and providing management with status/activity reports. Skills: Administrative support experience comfortable using multiple computer systems able to shift gears and be comfortable with ambiguity must be able to recognize priorities and reorganize priorities for staff that they are supporting proactive in thinking and able identify potential issues provide ongoing communication to team to stay on track look for areas of continuous improvement MS Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint in an office setting. Day to day: Efficient time management and prioritization of tasks Proactively managing complex calendars Executing international and domestic travel requests timely Completing expense reports timely Problem solving Special projects as assigned Excellent Organization & Proactivity

    Associate degree and 2 years of experience OR 2 years in a technical school setting with hands-on experience OR High school diploma / GED and 4 years of experience Amgen Experience preferred. Familiarity with Amgen tools and culture, especially: Concur (travel/expense reports) and Outlook (calendar management) Managing multiple complex calendars Ability to execute complex international and domestic travel Strong Multitasking Abilities Problem-solving & Quick Thinking Microsoft Office Suite proficiency Soft skills: Professional presence High attention to detail, polished communication. Ability to handle ambiguity and high demand without getting overwhelmed.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
