    Job Title: Quality Inspector

    Job Description

    Candidates will be inspecting machined parts directly tied to the defense and aerospace industries. You will use hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges, and will also be responsible for operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect parts. Additionally, you will document all inspection results on paper.

    Responsibilities

    + Inspect machined parts for defense and aerospace industries.

    + Use hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

    + Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect parts.

    + Document all inspection results on paper.

    + Read and understand blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

    + Perform quality assurance and inspection tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Understanding of GD&T

    + CMM programming

    + Quality assurance

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in CMM operating

    + Proficiency in GD&T

    Work Environment

     

    This is a 2nd shift position with hours from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am, Monday through Thursday. Since 1942, we have been serving the United States Department of Defense and the world’s largest prime contractors with hydro-mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, as well as complex, precision machined components for critical defense and aerospace applications. We are a full-service manufacturer providing product design and testing, as well as build-to-print manufacturing.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Grantsburg, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
