Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic ensures production efficiency and product quality by maintaining and repairing machinery and mechanical equipment. This role supports our company's culture by being Positive, Open, Winning, Energetic, and Resilient in daily operations and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by performing preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
+ Demonstrate resilience by proactively identifying and addressing mechanical issues, minimizing downtime, and ensuring operational continuity.
+ Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for issues, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
+ Remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools, examining form and texture of parts.
+ Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
+ Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
+ Control downtime by communicating proactive maintenance techniques to production workers and ensuring compliance.
+ Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
+ Demonstrate a winning mindset by continuously improving maintenance processes and troubleshooting methods.
+ Maintain inventories by checking stock levels, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt.
+ Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
+ Provide mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
+ Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing maintenance data and trends.
+ Expand technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and networking.
+ Foster collaboration by documenting and communicating maintenance actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician in a machine shop with CNC Mill or Lathe.
+ Experience in electrical troubleshooting up to 480 volts.
+ Experience with CNC, mechanical, preventive maintenance, FANUC control, and Siemens control.
+ Ability to read part manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting guides.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with Okuma, Fuji, Haas machinery.
+ Experience with FANUC, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Haas, and Okuma controls.
+ Expertise in industrial mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
+ Knowledge of CNC machine design and operation.
+ Proficiency with electrical test equipment, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems up to 480 Volts AC.

Work Environment
This is a 1st shift opportunity, working Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, with additional overtime of 10 - 12 hours a week and 2 Saturdays a month due to current business demand. Our facility is a CNC machine shop that employs over 100 employees and manufactures various components using CNC lathes, CNC mills, and other production machinery.

This is a Permanent position based out of Westfield, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr.
- Company has made major changes to upgrade the facility. There are new state of the art CNC machines that have been brought in, they have cleaned up and organized the floor , they have added new lighting fixtures and new safety markers to make the environment better for all of their employees. Invested over 5 million in new machines. They also love to promote from within as the operations manager Jeremy and both supervisors worked their ways up from the floor as machinist. They gave a 4.5% merit increase last year and there are monthly bonus's ranging from $100-$200 based on profitability.
