    Job Title: Quality Inspector 19/hr

     

    1st shift : 5am- 1pm

     

    2nd shift : 1pm -9pm

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving inspections, production floor process audits, final dock audits, routine lab testing, and reporting product nonconformance. Additionally, they will support the overall quality system and perform corrective actions, gage care, and maintenance as directed.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct receiving inspections.

    + Perform production floor process and product audits.

    + Carry out final dock audits.

    + Execute routine lab testing.

    + Report and resolve product nonconformance issues.

    + Implement corrective actions.

    + Maintain and care for gages as directed.

    + Perform measurement and testing procedures accurately.

    + Work independently without direct supervision.

    + Complete multiple tasks through to completion.

    + Assist in the timely resolution of nonconformance issues.

    + Communicate timely and detailed information to supervision and management both in writing and verbally.

    + Engage in other activities that support the overall quality system.

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ year of experience with micrometers and calipers.

    + 1+ year of experience with blueprints or work instructions.

    + 1+ year of experience in quality inspection.

    + Experience in receiving inspection and final inspection.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Proficiency in visual inspection, quality control, and quality assurance.

    + Experience with inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers.

    + Knowledge in quality check, final inspection, and quality technician roles.

    Work Environment

     

    Our facility is clean, organized, mild in temperature, and well-lit. It is a quiet area where employees can listen to headphones (one earbud) during work hours. The work schedule is from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with an early out option at 2:15 PM if the afternoon break is not taken. Currently, 10-hour shifts from 5:00 AM to 3:15 PM are in place due to staffing needs, with a plan to return to the regular schedule once fully staffed. Casual dress, gym shoes, and eye protection are required.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, Ohio.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
