    Job Title: Plumbing Superintendent

    Job Description

    We are starting a large-scale detention center project in Lancaster, SC. This project begins in the middle of May and will last for close to two years. We need an on-site Project Superintendent to be responsible for scheduling and coordinating material placement and installation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in overseeing large-scale commercial plumbing installations, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards, and managing project timelines and budgets.

    Responsibilities

    + Oversee all aspects of plumbing projects within detention centers, from planning and scheduling to execution and completion.

    + Lead and supervise a team of plumbers and subcontractors, ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety.

    + Monitor and control project budgets and schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

    + Ensure all plumbing work meets or exceeds industry standards and complies with local, state, and federal regulations.

    + Collaborate with other construction professionals, including architects, engineers, and general contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.

    + Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the course of the project.

    + Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, timecards, and material usage.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong leadership and team management skills.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

    + Knowledge of plumbing codes and standards.

    + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    + Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Plumbing Superintendent, with specific experience in detention centers.

    + High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in plumbing is preferred.

    + OSHA 30 certification is preferred.

    Work Environment

     

    This will be a very large jail project in Lancaster, SC. This job will be from start to finish, so we need someone well-versed in both underground, rough-in, and finish plumbing on large-scale projects, including detention centers.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Pineville, North Carolina.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr.

     

    Company truck, gas card, IPAD, medical, dental vision. Holiday pay along with accrued vacation time.

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Pineville,NC.
