Job Title: Mold Setter
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mold Setter for our 2nd shift (3 PM - 11:15 PM, Monday - Friday) with the possibility of some weekend work. This role involves setting molds for injection molding machines and monitoring the manufacturing process to ensure quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
+ Set molds for injection molding machines.
+ Monitor manufacturing process including temperature, pressure, cycle times, and flow rates via the HMI screen.
+ Verify color concentrates and perform color changes as required.
+ Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure parts meet customer specifications.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in mold setting.
+ Mechanically inclined with the ability to make machine adjustments.
+ Proficiency in overhead crane operation.
+ Experience with injection molding, process validation, and plastic molding.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Injection molding mold setter experience is strongly preferred.
+ Consideration will be given to candidates with die setter or extensive press experience.
+ Ability to memorize a long sequence of tasks to be performed in a short timeframe during the process.

Work Environment
The work takes place in a plastic injection molding facility with approximately 400 employees. The temperature inside the facility reflects the outside conditions as it is not temperature controlled. The 2nd shift team will consist of six mold setters once all positions are filled.

This is a Permanent position based out of Leitchfield, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $58240.00/yr.
