Would you like to launch your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Salt Lake City site is looking for a new Sea Logistics Sales Representative to join our Sea Logistics team.
Your Role
We're seeking a motivated Sale Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you'll drive new business opportunities and expand our customer base through customer outreach. You'll play a crucial role in identifying potential customers, engaging prospects, qualifying leads, and closing new business for our sales team.
Your Responsibilities
+ Build relationships with customers by meeting with them to discuss their needs and expectations.
+ Work with the Customer Care team to ensure all customer inquiries are promptly addressed.
+ Collaborate with colleagues across the Sea Logistics organization to share knowledge and best practices.
+ Stay up-to-date on market trends and developments, in the Transpacific Eastbound market.
+ Comply with all Kuehne+Nagel procedures, including those related to ethics, compliance, and safety.
+ Be willing to take on additional responsibilities to support goals.
+ Develop a comprehensive sales plan that aligns with our organizational goals
+ Build relationships with customers through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and presentations.
+ Negotiate and close deals to grow revenue.
+ Manage the sales process from start to finish using a CRM system.
+ Be knowledgeable about all company products and services. It is imperative that you learn to sell these products and services to customers.
+ Use all available resources to achieve sales goals.
+ Provide excellent customer service that exceeds customer expectations.
+ Work with other teams to gather information, negotiate pricing, and prepare for the handover of shipments to operations.
Your Skills and Experiences
+ BS or Certificate in Logistics / Supply Chain / International business / Project Management preferred
+ 2+ years field sales experience in freight forwarding, specifically in sea or air logistics.
+ Strong oral and written communication skills.
+ Effective presentation and customer relations skills.
+ Goal oriented, self-disciplined, and self-motivated to produce results.
+ Drivers License
