Position Responsibilities:

+ Designs, develops and deploys new custom software with a clear understanding of the value the software is to provide

+ Produces clean, efficient, well-commented code based on requirements and design

+ Analyzes, designs, generates and maintains SQL databases, stored procedures and other database objects

+ Collaborates on UI design and code architecture of new functionality and enhancements to existing applications

+ Troubleshoots complex processes, diagnoses the root cause and provides a stable solution without incurring technical debt

+ Maintains the integrity of the code repository using branching, tagging and pull requests, following industry best practices for version control

+ Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% of the time

+ Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and minimum 6 plus years of experience in a combination of the following areas: application and system development and integration, data modeling/querying/analysis, database management and design, and technical documentation OR High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and 9 plus years of the above stated experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

+ Bachelor’s Degree

+ Highly proficient in T-SQL, knowledgeable in SSRS

+ Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages with preference in C# or C++

+ Experience with CSS, HTML5 and Bootstrap

+ UI experience with Razor, JavaScript and jQuery
