CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Scheduling Coordinator.

**Job Title:** Scheduling Coordinator
**Location:** Saginaw, MI
*Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Saginaw, MI*
**Pay Rate:** Based on experience
**Work Hours:** Must be able to work a 2-3-2-day shift schedule (works alternating weekends). Manager will ensure 40 hours a week are worked, so flexibility for working over 8 hours a day may be required. The two newly hired contingents will work opposite days to cover all shifts.
**Education:** Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s preferred
This is an ITAR facility. Candidates must be complaint with DOD/ITAR requirements and be US citizens or nationals.
Description
Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to support operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will be essential in managing and optimizing employee schedules, coordinating shift coverage, and ensuring all scheduling processes run smoothly.
Requirements:
+ Efficiently handle and process employee time off requests, ensuring adherence to company policies and fair distribution
+ Monitor, track, and implement schedule changes as needed
+ Accurately document employee absences and maintain detailed records for reporting and payroll purposes
+ Identify, post, and coordinate available overtime slots
+ Publish and distribute employee schedules in a timely and organized manner
+ Collaborate with the team to improve systems for managing time-off requests and scheduling logistics
+ Resolve scheduling conflicts or issues proactively and professionally
+ Generate and distribute reports related to scheduling metrics and activities
+ Perform constraint-based scheduling using asset and project considerations
+ Maintain and update multiple spreadsheets for effective scheduling operations
Required Qualifications
Education:
+ Associate’s degree required
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred
Qualifications:
+ 1–2 years of experience in scheduling or administrative support, preferred
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formula creation, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data analysis
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
+ Ability to handle high-volume scheduling with over 1,000 operators
+ Must be able to work a 2-3-2-day shift schedule (works alternating weekends). Flexibility for working over 8 hours a day may be required. The two hired candidates will alternate shifts to ensure full coverage
