We are the Client Innovation team responsible for designing, executing and sharing new go-to-market motions. These new ways of working engage our clients more deeply and help them use or buy Pega technologies in an experiential way.

What You'll Do at Pega:

Drive efficient and effective translation of legacy application functionality to modern SaaS AI-driven workflow and business process management applications

+ Quickly understand, explain and illustrate the structure of legacy applications including but not limited to Microsoft .NET, Java and other code bases, mainframe apps and databases, Lotus Notes, COBOL, and legacy workflow to technical and non-technical audiences

+ You have exposure to code analysis tools and the like.

+ You are comfortable using GenAI tools like LLMs to work faster.

Understand a client’s data migration, data integration, and data access requirements for modern, cloud solutions while considering legacy constraints and opportunities that influence the future state solution.

+ Demonstrate the ability to read DDL, database schemas and WSDLs in on-premise and cloud environments.

+ Define the optimal future state data storage and integration approaches using Pega and the client’s existing data technologies.

Contribute to qualification and discovery activities to select the best legacy opportunities to work on.

+ Quickly assess existing technology application and enterprise architectures to determine the fit for Pega’s technology.

Collaborate with sales, solution consulting, product engineering and client IT orgs to ensure seamless integration and implementation of modern solutions

+ Ability to develop a future state architecture and roadmap for selling purposes to achieve it for a large application and/or a portfolio of applications

+ Expertise in a variety of technologies including, but not limited to: Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MS/SQL, DB2, etc.), RESTful APIs, Microservices, Event Streaming (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Amazon Kinesis, etc.), OAuth, Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, OpenShift etc.), expertise in one of the following major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.

What You've Accomplished:

Technical Expertise in Legacy Technologies:

+ Extensive experience with legacy applications including but not limited to Microsoft .NET applications, Java applications, mainframe apps and databases, Lotus Notes, COBOL, and legacy workflow applications

+ Understanding of code analysis tools, how they work, and strengths and weaknesses

Data Migration and Integration Skills:

+ Strong understanding of data migration, data integration, and data access requirements for modern solutions.

+ Ability to design modern, cloud based data architectures.

+ Ability to identify and address data quality issues and inconsistencies.

+ Experience with AI-driven workflow and business process management applications.

Leadership and Collaboration:

+ Proven leadership experience with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

+ Strong communication and collaboration abilities to ensure seamless integration and implementation of modern solutions.

Qualification and Discovery Activities:

+ Ability to contribute to qualification and discovery activities to select the best legacy opportunities to work on.

+ Experience in driving technical discovery and creation of solution prototypes.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and a proven track record of driving successful technology transformations.
