The Production Assistant is responsible for various television production duties required to record scenes for live and recorded broadcasts. This is a temporary position. Great for opportunity for college students looking for on the job experience.
+ Edit video for newscasts
+ Attach video to placeholders
+ Work closely with producers
+ Build graphics for newscasts
+ Occasionally post news stories and videos online
+ Run teleprompter for newscasts
+ Time newscasts
+ Communicate with news talent
+ Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements & Skills:
+ Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
+ Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment.
+ Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
