Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with starting hourly pay between $19 - $21 / hour plus auto allowance eligibility. This hourly range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview
The Sales Associate provides support to Sales Consultants and Area Managers by performing merchandising activities, servicing accounts and selling to customers.
Primary Responsibilities
+ Build positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust
+ Responsible for servicing stores in assigned territories and refilling existing displays of products to keep company products fully stocked on the shelves
+ Fill cold box and warm shelves at accounts with products sold by the Company
+ Assemble, install, and fill all types of display racks
+ Assist Sales Consultants and Area Managers in managing customer accounts and provide sales route coverage as needed
+ Prioritize sales activities to achieve objectives based on each customer business growth plan
+ Maintain deep knowledge of SGWS products and correctly present and position them in each account
+ Propose selling solutions to customers and win the sale using consultative selling skills
+ Achieve internal SGWS and supplier objectives as prioritized by management
+ Participate in sales meetings, on-site trainings, and supplier events as required
+ Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Additional Primary Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
+ Ability to secure and maintain a State Sales Permit in accordance with state laws (where applicable)
+ Able to analyze and understand data and information
+ Able to leverage SGWS technology to perform duties and responsibilities
+ Proficient in using mobile devices (e.g., iPad®, smartphone) and online communication techniques (email, posting, texting, etc.) in a professional manner
+ Able to take responsibility for own actions and results; commits to providing a consistent high level of service to customers, suppliers, colleagues, and management
+ Able to communicate effectively through various methods and express self clearly and concisely while appropriately tailoring message to audience
+ Able to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
+ Able to maintain a valid and current driver's license
+ High School Diploma or GED required
+ Able to travel as needed
+ Must be at least 21 years of age
Physical Demands
+ Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer {e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or mobile device
+ Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
+ Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include driving throughout the day with segments up to 2 hours
+ May require lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 45lbs
