JOB TITLE
Area Arch Specialist
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB AND OBJECTIVES

Creates strategic area plans which align with National strategies. Implements national sales and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward meeting and exceeding sales goals in existing and new markets through recruiting and retaining highly talented individuals, implementing tactical sales and marketing programs, negotiating, KOL development, coaching and motivating others, sales planning, building relationships, managing processes, and other related responsibilities.
POSITION IN ORGANISATION

KEY DUTIES
+ Develops and implements strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve Area and corporate objectives for Thoracic devices.
+ Creates account specific strategies by geography to drive market acceptance and utilization of Thoracic devices.
+ Assists with new implanters of Thoracic devices, namely Thoraflex, to include in-servicing and initial case support.
+ Maintains a network of case proctors and coordinate their availability for new users to utilize as needed.
+ Assists in the planning and execution of promotional and educational activities including speaker programs, case observations, and workshops.
+ Develops a clinical paper strategy in conjunction with Clinical Marketing, Downstream Marketing, and Manager of Medical Education
+ Actively involved in sales and clinical representative training of Thoracic products with an emphasis on Thoraflex
+ Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends.
+ Monitors competitor products, sales, and marketing activities.
+ Establishes and maintains relationships with KOL’s across the Area
+ Represents Company at congresses and other trade events to promote product.
+ Meets with key customers, assisting Endovascular Consultants and Clinical Vascular Specialists with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
+ Prepares sales activity reports and presents at sr. management and other meetings.
+ Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
+ Reviews and analyzes sales performances against programs, quotes, and plans to determine effectiveness.
+ Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and targeting key customers.
+ Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
+ Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:
+ Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years related field and clinical experience.
+ Must have operating room experience both clinical and sales.
+ Endovascular and open surgical market experience.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of in-depth sales and marketing techniques. The ability to communicate orally and written form effectively with management, internal and external customers.
+ Thorough understanding of Customer dynamics (their processes, value chain…) as well as the endovascular and open space in the market
+ Thorough understanding of competitor dynamics
+ Company products, solutions, and services in terms of impact on the customer’s value chain (Clinical, Economical, and Organizational).
+ Selling technique
