Job Summary:

The **Faculty of Finance, Accounting, Economics professor** **is** considered a senior member of the University faculty and serves as a respected mentor to colleagues and students. Appointment as a Finance, Accounting, Economics Professor signifies demonstrated excellence as an educator, competence as a scholar, and recognition in professional service. The Associate Professor in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

You Will Be Responsible For:

+ Demonstrates behaviors at Adventist University of Health Sciences in harmony with the “Four Words” Nurture, Excellence, Spirituality, and Stewardship

+ Provide course syllabi for instruction.

+ Develop, design and deliver instruction in assigned courses.

+ Participate in student advising and mentoring.

+ Formulate and administer, as needed, student competencies.

+ Engage in the academic roles of teaching, service, scholarship and research.

+ Grade examinations and assignments and review evaluations with students.

Qualifications

What Will You Need:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

+ **Doctoral degree from a regionally accredited academic** institution. The degree must be either in the assigned area of education or in an area that directly contributes to the professional assignment

+ At least **3-years of effective college-level work in the area of academic or professional expertise.**

+ Abilityto workinbothaface-to-faceandonlineteachingenvironment

+ Knowledgeofcomputerbasedacademicdeliverysystems

+ Abilityto workwithanethnicallydiverse studentbody.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

May supervise adjunct professors, graduate teaching assistants or student workers.
