    About the Role

     

    PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a **Senior Aircraft Electrical Technician** to join our high-performing team in **Columbus, Mississippi** . In this pivotal role, you’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge rotorcraft, specializing in the **fabrication, installation, and repair** of complex electrical and electronic systems on military and commercial helicopters.

     

    This is a **contract position** with flexible duration, ideal for seasoned technicians looking to leave their mark on some of the most advanced aircraft in the world.

     

    What You’ll Do

    As a key player in our avionics team, you will:

    + Assemble, install, and repair electrical/electronic components in helicopters

    + Perform functional checks and ensure full FAA compliance

    + Use technical blueprints, diagrams, and service manuals to guide your work

    + Collaborate across departments to meet production schedules and safety standards

    + Maintain detailed documentation for every task and completed job

    + Operate a variety of tools and testing equipment in a high-precision environment

     

    What You Bring

    Required Qualifications

    + Minimum of six (6) years of avionics experience—preferably in rotorcraft

    + Strong skills in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and electrical schematics

    + Proven ability to independently diagnose and resolve wiring issues

    + Proficiency in aviation tooling and standard shop practices

    + Must speak, read, and write English

    + Must meet physical requirements related to lifting, movement, and PPE use

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Prior experience working on the UH-72A Lakota or H-125 helicopters

    + Familiarity with FAA regulations and rotorcraft-specific standards

    **Pay Details:** $40.00 to $42.00 per hour
