Overview

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our growing team and support the deployment, debugging, and maintenance of cloud-based systems. The Cloud Engineer will collaborate across teams to design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions that ensure efficient data storage, security compliance, and performance across platforms. The ideal candidate will also work directly with clients to provide cloud support and recommend tailored solutions aligned with evolving needs .  This role is on-site full-time.

Responsibilities

+ Address assigned IIS ITSM tickets in a timely manner.

+ Work in tandem with various RPC teams to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions.

+ Modify and improve existing systems.

+ Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems.

+ Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.

+ Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with DoS security policies and best practices in cloud security.

+ Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.

+ Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements.

+ Interact with clients, providing cloud support and making recommendations based on client needs.

+ Provide support for: AWS, FileCloud, VEEAM, and Citrix.

Required Education and Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

+ 2-4 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering.

+ Cloud Platform Certifications.

+ AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional.

+ VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Citrix Certified Associate – Virtualization (CCA-V), VEEAM Certified Engineer (VMCE), or other relevant certifications preferred.

Clearance Requirements

+ Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

+ Active Secret Clearance is preferred.
