    PeaceHealth is seeking a full time Employee Health Clinical Coordinator in Vancouver, Washington.....

     

    The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $28.02 – $42.04. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

     

    Under the supervision of an RN, follows standards of practice in occupational health. Provides administrative, project management and technical support services within the Employee Health Department through data reporting, analysis and process improvements for compliance with all federal state, and local laws and accrediting bodies. Leads and implements identified department projects to align with network and system compliance efforts.

    What you will enjoy:

    + Conducts post-offer immunization screenings and assesses needs for education and immunizations according to specific job classifications and under the supervision of an RN.

    + Investigates and coordinates exposures to blood borne pathogens as well as other exposures to contagious diseases utilizing, comprehensive case management approach.

    + Maintains programs and services as required to remain in compliance with OSHA and DNV standards and mandates.

    + Leads the development and implementation of new policies and programs and continuous quality improvement activities with assistance from manager and team as needed

    + Leads the set up and organization of flu clinics and other large-scale Employee Health projects and programs with assistance from manager and team as needed.

    + Conducts TB screening and immunization of healthcare workers against specific illnesses under the supervision of an RN.

    + Conducts N95 Fit testing under the direction of the Respiratory Protection Coordinator.

    + Maintains confidential healthcare worker medical files.

    + Develops, maintains, and prepares data reports for Employee Health. Provides data reports to department director, manager, clinic staff, and others within the organization as needed.

    + Coordinates caregiver safety initiatives and attend community committees as directed by caregiver injury prevention coordinator.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    What you will bring:

    + Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + Minimum of 5 years Occupational health, clinic or outpatient experience.

    + Knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles to meet each patient’s needs.

    + State Medical Assistant – Certified

    + State of Washington Medical Assistant – Interim Certified credential accepted. Caregiver must obtain Medical Assistant- Certified (Non-Interim) credential within 12 months of date of issuance of interim credential by the State of Washington

    + National Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred.

    + Basic Life Support

    Additional skills:

    + Knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles to meet each patient’s needs.

    + Knowledge of OSHA regulations, occupational safety, occupational exposure management, injury/illness intervention and case management.

    + Ability to operate a personal computer: proficiency in Microsoft Office.

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    + Strong customer service skills.

    + Ability to adhere to quality, safety and infection control standards.

    Working Conditions:

    + Patient handling no greater than 35 lbs. without the use of assistive equipment and/or devices (NIOSH).

    + Ability to move around area with occasional sitting.

    + Frequent Manual Dexterity and Tactile Sensitivity.

    + Frequent push/ pull/ carry/ stoop/ bend/ reach.

    + Occasional Kneeling.

    + Exposure to biohazard, body fluids and airborne particles.

    + Time spent on site in medical/hospital setting.

    + Vision and hearing required within normal limits (glasses, contacts, hearing aids permitted).

    + Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
