RESPONSIBILITIES
JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manages and supervises the day-to-day administration, management, coordination and integration of services, programs, and activities of all diagnostic imaging, including the hospital and physician office building.
• Ensures programs, services and activities support strategic plans, and the goals and objectives of Queen’s North Hawaii Community Hospital (QNHCH)
• Ensures operations and functions are in compliance with regulatory requirements and the policies and procedures of the Hospital.
• Collaborates and coordinates functions, services and operations to ensure alignment with Imaging Services at QNHCH.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Seeing, hearing, speaking.
• Frequent: sitting, standing, walking, finger dexterity, reaching at shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods, and frequent gripping of an object.
• Occasional: stooping/bending, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, squatting, twisting body, pushing/pulling, lifting/carrying usual weight of 5 pounds up to 10 pounds, reaching above and below shoulder level.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
• Current Hawaii State license as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business or related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
• Five (5) years clinical experience in imaging modalities, preferably in a comparable facility.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience in healthcare (e.g. responsibilities for major project(s)).
