    Advanced Practice Provider - Neurosurgery - Inpatient

     

    Schedule: Full Time

    What you can expect at your practice:

    + Full-time position; (3) 13s Day/Night schedule with rotating weekends

    + Provide direct inpatient care for neurosurgery patients including pre- and post-operative management

    + Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic studies, develop treatment plans

    + Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the neurosurgery team

    + Manage and monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary

    + Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education:

    + Masters Degree For Nurse Practitioner. Required or

    + Bachelors Degree For Physician Assistant. Required

    + Masters Degree For Physician Assistant. Preferred

    Work Experience:

    + 1 year Relevant experience. Required

    Licenses:

    + Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or

    + National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants Upon Hire Required and

    + Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or

    + Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required or

    + Neonatal Advanced Life Support Certification Upon Hire Required

    Courses and Training:

    + BLS and/or ACLS and/or NALS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and

    + For Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners. Upon Hire Required or

    + For Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program. Upon Hire Required
