    The Opportunity:

    CACI is seeking a highly motivated Buyer to serve key purchasing, planning and commodity management for our Rochester, NY facility.

    Responsibilities:

    + Collaborates with internal teams to anticipate and fulfill procurement needs.

    + Reviews requisitions, prepares bid requests, and expedites delivery of goods to users.

    + Prepare procurement reports for management briefing.

    + Maintains procurement records in system of record, such as items or services purchased, costs, and delivery.

    + Streamline and optimize procurement processes by implementing best practices and continuous improvement strategies, ensuring timely delivery and compliance.

    + Act as a primary problem-solver for complex procurement issues, setting an example of effective decision-making and proactive solutions.

    + Receives and reviews purchase requests, gathers and evaluates quotes, and seeks necessary approvals.

    + Drives a culture of accountability, integrity, and innovation within the procurement team.

    Qualifications:

    _Required:_

    + U.S. citizenship required.

    + Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) with at least 3 years of experience, or High School Diploma with 6 years of relevant work experience.

    + Analytical mindset to evaluate supplier performance, costs, and risks, using data to inform strategic decisions and mentor team members in developing these skills.

    + Expert negotiation and relationship management skills to maintain strong supplier and stakeholder partnerships.

    + Ability to make independent, strategic decisions and effectively manage high-pressure situations.

    + Demonstrated a forward-thinking approach to anticipate and mitigate procurement delays, modeling proactive behavior.

    + Experienced with selecting, ordering, and authorizing payment for material.

    + Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills to manage multiple priorities and provide clear, concise updates to all involved parties.

    + Competency with data analysis, use of MS tools.

    _Desired:_

    + Experience with InFor ERP system or similar.

    **Pay Range** : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.     $39,500-$79,000
