Responsibilities

+ Serve as the subject matter expert for Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) and Microsoft Purview suite of tools

+ Design, implement, and support MIP solutions, including sensitivity labels, data loss prevention (DLP) policies, and encryption

+ Develop and maintain documentation for MIP policies, standards, procedures, and training materials

+ Conduct regular risk assessments and security reviews of MIP implementations

+ Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging threats related to data protection and MIP

+ Collaborate with other security teams to integrate MIP with other security solutions

+ Provide guidance and support to business users on MIP-related matters

+ Contribute to the development and maintenance of the organization's data protection program

+ Manage vendor relationships driving improvements and awareness of all engineering and operational issues

+ Maintain and further enhance Citi’s Data Protection Standard as it relates to existing technologies by collaborating and linking with key stakeholders to ensure standards consistently align to Citi Information Security governance controls and business needs

+ Collaborate with other functional SMEs that provide engineering expertise to enable management of other data security tools

Qualifications

+ 5+ years' experience in Information Security with a focus on data protection

+ Expert knowledge of Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) and Microsoft Purview suite of tools

+ Hands-on Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting MIP solutions

+ Strong understanding of data protection principles and best practices

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, related field or equivalent experience required

+ Any M365 Purview related certifications are a big plus

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
