    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    This provider will work in collaboration with our other academic faculty providers and this full-time physician's primary location will be located at UTMB Main Campus, Galveston Island with possible assignment to one of UTMB’s off island clinics 1-2 day per week. This physician will play a vital role in delivering exceptional women’s health care services to our patients. The scope of this position will include full-scope obstetrics and gynecologic care with a focus on gynecology and gynecologic surgery. These services will be conducted through a combination of staffing resident GYN services and participating in faculty practice.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Candidate should be a graduate of an approved medical school, have completed an approved Ob/Gyn residency training program, and have a Texas Medical License without restrictions.

     

    Candidates must be Board certified or board eligible through the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology or equivalent. Candidates must pass the Ob/Gyn Qualifying (written) Board Examination before starting the position and plan to sit for and pass the Certifying (oral) exam within 1-3 years of starting.

    SALARY:

    Commensurate with experience.
