    LOCATION OF POSITION:Monroe #1 BOCES - Various Locations

     

    TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:Full-Time, 10-Month +20 Days

     

    STARTING DATE: September 2025

    SALARY RANGE: $52,250 - $83,791 per school year

    *Actual Salary Is Dependent Upon Education, Experience and Contract.

    DUTIES:

    1. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to improve the quality of educational programs for all students through standards-based practices.

    2. Lead CTE and Special Area teachers in the curriculum development and review process assuring curriculum alignment to New York State and national standards.

    3. Collaborate with teachers and provide growth producing feedback with the goal of increasing student achievement through a student-centered coaching model.

    4. Design and present high quality professional learning experiences and follow-up support for staff.

    5. Facilitate professional learning communities of educators.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. NYS Certification required; Preferred Certification: Students with Disabilities Professional or Special Education Permanent.

    2. Experience coaching and mentoring adults.

    3. At least five years teaching experience in both Special and General Education.

    4. Knowledge of the New York State Learning Standards for Career Development and Occupational Studies (CDOS), Family and Consumer Science (FACS), physical education, technology, mechanical trades, and the arts.

    6. Experience in conducting staff training and willingness to attend additional training to provide professional learning to others.

    7. Experience integrating technology into instruction preferred.

    8. Experience with Microsoft Office 365 preferred.

    9. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

    10. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

    11. Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
