Responsibilities
The Mayo Clinic Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is seeking a physiatrist to join our established Cancer/Lymphedema Rehabilitation practice. This role will also provide opportunities to practice in other areas of the department, if desired.
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is a high performing, multidisciplinary department focused on clinical practice, education, and research. We have an outstanding PM&R physician residency program, medical school, Doctor of Physical Therapy program, three occupational therapy fellowships, and three physical therapy residencies that provide a unique opportunity to train the next generation of rehabilitation care providers. Additionally, the Mayo Clinic Rehabilitation Research Center provides opportunities and support to develop and continue research endeavors.
We are seeking innovative, patient-centered candidates for this academic position with broad opportunities in clinical practice, education, and research. Our practice includes highly collegial relationships with other departments and true multispecialty care putting the needs of the patient first. A commitment to equity, inclusion, and diversity in the work force is required of this position.
Candidate must be board-certified or board-eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and eligible for medical licensure in the state of Minnesota. Completion of a Cancer Rehabilitation or Palliative Medicine Fellowship is preferred.

Compensation Detail
The minimum starting salary for medical specialties may range from $202,000 to $663,037. This range reflects full-time total base compensation prior to consideration of additional experience or duties. Pay for the selected candidate will vary based on specialty, experience, FTE, internal equity, or external market data.
