    Overview

     

    Providence Medical Center (PMC) is seeking a Student Radiologic Technologist in a per diem variable shift role!!! Internally referred to as our Student Rad Tech at Providence Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare. As a Student Rad Tech you will perform Diagnostic Radiographic procedures in our Radiology Department.

     

    Shift’s Available: Days

     

    Employment Type:Per Diem

     

    Hours:8-hour

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

    + performs diagnostic Radiographic procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations

    + functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs

    + participates in PI/QC activities

    + responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS

    Qualifications

    Education and Training

     

    Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

     

    + high school diploma or equivalent

    + enrolled and in good standing in a Radiologic Technology program

    + current BLS certification (AHA)

    + at least 6 months of clinical experience

    Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus:

    + proficiency of computer systems to perform patient testing and to retrieve related data to monitor quality
