We are currently seeking a Business Analyst - Life & Annuities - McKinney, Texas to join our team in McKinney, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

_This is a permanent, fulltime, salaried position with benefits. Not open to C2C or C2H._

_This position is hybrid role requiring three or more days per week at our client's office in McKinney, Texas_

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

+ Conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design

+ Develop analysis and reporting capabilities

+ Perform discovery and analysis of requirements based on current system functions, and business needs

+ Elicit business requirements

+ Translate business requirements to functional requirements

+ Clarify any questions engineering team have

+ Produce Data maps between source and target systems

+ Interpret data and analyze results

+ Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

+ Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems

+ Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

+ Work with management to prioritize business and information needs

+ Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

+ Project co-ordination

Basic, Required Qualifications:

+ Minmum three years' experience interpreting data and analyzing results

+ Minmum three years' experience in Data mapping projects

+ Minmum three years' experience with SQL

+ Bachelor's degree in a related field

Other Desired Qualifications:

+ Strong Integration/Mapping experience

+ Insurance background - Life Insurance industry experience is a plus

+ Data mapping between systems

+ Project coordination

+ Insurance Policy Administration experience

+ Data Migration experience

+ Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

+ Proven working experience as a business analyst or business data analyst

+ Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques

+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

+ Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings

+ Experience in system migrations efforts preferred

+ Strong communication skills
