    Job Summary and Qualifications

     

    The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) delivers high quality, patient-centered care by providing a variety of delegated therapeutic services, in accordance with licensing and regulations. Under the supervision of the primary Occupational Therapist, the COTA Assistant administers therapeutic treatment and engages and supports the patient in therapeutic activities and exercise regimes. The COTA strives to achieve the goals of the physician's plan of care and to support patients throughout the program.

    Qualifications:

    + Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Required

    + 1+ years experience in Occupational Therapy Preferred

    + 1+ years experience in direct inpatient rehab Preferred

    + Currently licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state(s) of practice, in accordance with law and regulation.

    + BLS required.

Our 74-bed Behavioral Health Center offers inpatient and outpatient mental health care for adolescents and adults.
