Tax Manager

We are seeking a strong Tax Manager for one of our top clients, eligible for a hybrid work schedule. If you thrive in a collaborative team environment and enjoy contributing to continuous project improvement teams, we want to talk with you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage tax accounting/forecasting activities, overseeing significant federal and state tax risks and a Deferred Tax Asset inventory across multiple US legal entities.

• Supervise a shared team of tax analysts for US/Canada direct tax workstreams.

• Ensure execution of all tax-related internal controls and SOX compliance activities.

• Engage in continuous improvement projects focused on simplification, standardization, and automation.

• Oversee timely filing of federal and state annual direct tax compliance filings and manage tax audit activities.

• Provide leadership for US Indirect Tax workstreams, including property tax and annual reporting requirements, and oversee sales & use tax operations.

• Collaborate with the transfer pricing team to manage US cross-border tax risk.

• Conduct research and planning projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent, minimum of 8 years of tax experience with a large public accounting firm or publicly traded company.

• Preferred: Proficiency with large software and system applications, ability to lead data automation projects using tools like PowerBI, Qlik View, strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional teamwork, and effective communication in a large, international, matrix organization. Ability to prioritize responsibilities and complete work timely and accurately.
