Our client, a leader in the utilities industry, is seeking a Meter Reader to join their team. As a Meter Reader, you will be part of the operations department supporting the essential services provided to the community. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Meter Reader

**Location:** Moore, OK

**Pay Range:** $17/hr

What's the Job?

+ Walks or drives over established routes to read meters and record volume used.

+ Inspects meters and connections for any damage, defects, or unauthorized connections.

+ Operates automated meter-reading equipment and performs manual meter reads as necessary.

+ Identifies irregularities in readings and communicates with the service department for action.

+ Maintains a clean and organized work area, including vehicles and tools.

What's Needed?

+ Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods.

+ Physical capability to lift and move up to 50-60 pounds and perform tasks requiring bending, walking, and climbing.

+ Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.

+ Basic math skills and the ability to read, write, and comprehend English.

+ At least one year of experience in a related position is preferred.
