    Job Description

    The Forklift Operator is responsible for moving product or materials in a production or warehouse environment using power tools and vehicles.

     

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

     

    + Operate industrial vehicles and equipment to transport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated area

    + Load and unload trailers and/or route trucks

    + Move product and/or materials manually as required

    + Assist with shipping and receiving functions as directed

    + Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures

    Job Requirements

    + High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred

    + Forklift certification preferred

    + 1+ years of prior warehouse, stocking or forklift experience preferred

    + Must have the ability to lift, carry and position product weighing up to 50 pounds above shoulder height without assistance

    + Must have the ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
