Outstanding opportunity for Board Eligible / Board Certified Midwife to join CaroMont Women’s Health consisting of twelve (12) Physicians, nine (9) Nurse Midwives and three (3) Advanced Practice Providers. CaroMont Women’s Health consists of four (4) locations. Two locations in Gastonia, NC, one in Belmont, NC and a location in Lake Wylie, SC. Each location is just minutes from Charlotte, one of the fastest growing cities in the country.

CaroMont Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is a progressive and comprehensive 435-bed hospital and the only independent, not-for-profit healthcare system in the region. We are especially proud of our state-of-the-art Birthplace at CRMC housing 52 LDRPs and 16 private room Level III NICUs, making our facility one of the largest of its kind in the country. Nearly 400 physicians and Advanced Care Practitioners representing nearly all medical subspecialties – including a Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist, Neonatologists and Pediatric Hospitalists – are on the active medical staff.

Responsibilities include gynecologic patient care as well as antenatal (including high-risk), intrapartum, and postpartum care. Nurse Midwives also serve as First Assist on C-section deliveries. The schedule for this opportunity consists of 12 hr shifts, inpatient/outpatient coverage, and the midwife’s fair share of 24-hour call coverage.
