Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:

Lecturer-Pool faculty are term positions hired to teach one to two courses per semester in either the M.Ed. in School Leadership, Superintendent certification, or Ed.D. in Educational Leadership programs. Lecturer-Pool faculty hiring is based upon student demand, on a semester-by-semester basis.

Educational Requirements for the Position (Faculty Positions Only):

Requires a minimum of a Doctoral degree in School Leadership/Education Administration, Educational Leadership or closely related field, and Superintendent Certification.

Experience Required for the Position (Faculty Positions Only):

To teach superintendent courses, applicants must be 1) a Texas certified Superintendent, 2) experience in working in a TEA certified school, and 3) have at least three years of experience as a superintendent or associate superintendent.
