    Pool Attendant (Seasonal)

     

    Under the direction of the Pool Supervisor and Food & Beverage management team, the Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining pool facilities clean and sanitized. The Pool Attendant is responsible for assisting pool servers and providing assistance and services to members when visiting our pool area in a courteous and professional manner. This is a seasonal position.

     

    This position is open on Memorial Day weekend (May 25th) and closes on Labor Day (September 2nd). New Hire Orientation will be May 18th, 2024. Please keep in mind some night, weekend, and holiday shifts will be required throughout the summer and we are looking for individuals who will be able to work the full summer season.

     

    Duties & Expectations

     

    + Welcoming and assisting members and guests

    + Opening the Pool Deck, this includes but is not limited to, arranging all umbrellas, straightening chairs, tables, and furniture.

    + Cleaning, sanitizing, and wiping tables prior, during, and after service

    + Setting up and refreshing water station with ice and carafe

    + Offering services through the day such as providing fresh towels to members, collecting soiled towels, keeping the pool deck clean of trash and debris, offering members complimentary snacks

    + Closing Pool Deck, this includes but is not limited to, collapsing all umbrellas, cleaning all furniture and place accordingly, remove all trash from the deck and trash areas, collect used towels and deliver to laundry department

    + Ensuring members follow pool sanitation protocol

    + Responding to members' needs for assistance and information

    + Informing Supervisors of any major incidents as quickly as possible

    + Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager

    Qualifications

    Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Must be available to work weekends, evenings, holidays and special events

    + Requires standing, walking, and/or bending for long periods throughout the shift in the pool area

    + Ability to perform physical job duties such as carrying plates, moving small furniture, & carrying a full server tray

    + Lifting 25 lbs or up to 50 lbs at time

    + 1 year of strong Customer Service experience preferred

    + Prior club, fine dining, or hospitality experience preferred

    + Possess a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with all departments and members
