    Description

    Under general supervision, supervise, coordinate and control the safe and efficient operation of an assigned work unit through subordinate Supervisors.

     

    + Ensure continued operations of production shifts through execution of the production plan and schedules

    + Provide Operations input for production and maintenance planning

    + Ensure adherence to correct safety and operating procedures and compliance with appropriated federal and state laws and regulations

    + Inspect assigned work units to ensure schedules and objectives are attained

    + Coordinate daily with other Operational and staff areas, including but not limited to Maintenance, Processing, Engineering, Safety, Environmental, and Sales

    + Directly supervise first-line or shift Supervisors

    + Perform other duties as required

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    + High School diploma or GED **and** seven (7) years of related operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience, **OR**

    + Bachelor's degree in a technical mining related discipline **and** three (3) years of operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience

    + Additional certifications or licensure appropriate to the job may be required

    + Knowledge of supervisory methods and techniques

    + Skilled in resolving day-to-day questions/problems regarding equipment, materials, methods and procedures needed to complete projects

    + Skilled in budget preparation, monitoring and administration

    + Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions

    + Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards

    + Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

    Preferred

    + 10 years of Hydromet experience

    + 5 years of supervisory experience

     

    What We Offer You 

     

    The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently  **$101,000-$141,000** . This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
