    Stand Up Forklift Operator

    Description

    + Move Raw materials, or stock, to and from storage or production areas utilizing forklift, pallet jacks or other machinery

    + Inspects equipment before use and reports malfunctions, repairs needed or concerns.

    + Maintain inventory of supplies. Rotate stock as required.

    + Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information

    + Read work orders to receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or equipment needs.

    + Ensures that all equipment is in safe and operating status. Ensures that any issues are addressed and corrected in a timely manner.

    + Complete paperwork as necessary and in a timely manner.

    + Supervise and ensure that warehouse is cleaned on a regular basis including waste disposal as necessary.

    + Perform other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Supervisor

    Requirements

    + Must have a high school diploma or equivalent education.

    + Must have experience operating stand up forklift

    + Experience using an Inventory Scan gun and Warehouse Inventory System is preferred
