    As a Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant in our Wound Care Clinic, you will be an important member of the team that will be relied upon to maintain accurate records and assist patients and staff with a friendly and helpful spirit. You will be responsible for providing high quality, professional and compassionate patient care. The ideal candidate will be an organized and energetic team player.

    • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

    • Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communication skills

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external

    Position Requirements:

    High school diploma or equivalent required

     

    Current CMA certification required

    OR

    Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Emergency Medical Technician Certification required

     

    Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required within 6 months of hire (except for PRN staff)

    Tuition assistance available for CMA training and examination expenses

     

    Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (available upon hire)

     

    Annual influenza vaccination or declination required

    Position Details:

    1.0 FTE (40 hours per week)
