    The salary range for this position is $60,000.00-$70,000.00. The actual compensation may vary depending on a wide range of factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, location, etc. This range does not include additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.

    OVERVIEW:

    ThePeople Business Partnerwill support our growing organization and contribute with both hands-on and strategic support of our people managers through performance management and workplace conflict issues to cultivate an innovative, high-performing, and inclusive culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong assessment of different types of risk, bring creative and effective ideas and solutions to a growing organization.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Supporting people managers with employee relations issues (terminations, performance issues, complaints, lawsuits, discrimination, conflict, counseling, etc.) Counsel employees and/or managers as needed regarding personnel issues.

    + Advising management with respect to employee relations and performance management issues, with an emphasis on early identification and resolution.

    + Ability to establish credibility and rapport with stakeholders ranging from hourly employees to executives.

    + Coordinate onboarding for all new hires with Payroll Specialist including packets, swag bags, ID badges, etc.

    + People + Culture invoice and billback processing

    + Coordinate and track the Performance Management across the company

    + Set up applicable training access for new users (Conifer University, Cooley)

    + Performs all system and user administrator tasks for Learning.

    + EEO, VETS and AAP reporting

    + Flexibility to work on special projects that fall in any of the following areas: Benefits, Training and Development, HRIS, Payroll, Compliance, Employee Relations and Engagement.

    + Ability to work independently and get work done through others using effective influencing skills, delegation, scheduling, and time management practices.

    + Assist with other HR-related projects, tasks as assigned.

    EXPERIENCE:

    + Minimum 5+ years or Employee Relations Experience.

    + Proven project management skills, including facilitation, organizational skills, indirect management, and ability to hold parties accountable for results.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

    + Experience with Paylocity a plus.

    + Strong customer service skills to interact with employees’ company-wide, at all levels.

    + Ability to handle confidential information in an appropriate manner.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    + Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or comparable discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + SPHR/PHR/SHRM Certification.

    SKILLS:

    + Strong oral and written communication skills.

    + Detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks on an ongoing basis.

    + Excellent customer service skills.

    + Adaptable, sense of urgency – flexibility to change projects as required.

    + Strong interpersonal communication skills.

    + Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet required deadlines.

    + Able to work independently as well as support a team.

    + Resourceful; effective problem-solving skills.

    + Proactive; eager to learn and take on new responsibilities.

    + Business Professional with excellent business judgment.

    + Creative; ability to “think outside the box.”
