    CFO Consultant (Remote, Full-Time, 4-Week Opportunity)

     

    Robert Half is seeking a dynamic and experienced CFO Consultant to assist a dental practice owner in gaining a deeper understanding of their financial landscape while building a proactive financial model.     Roles & Responsibilities: The CFO Consultant will work closely with the dental practice owner to:

    + Review Financial Statements: Conduct a comprehensive analysis of their financials, including the balance sheet, cash flow, and reimbursements, to assess overall financial health.

    + Support a Growing Team: Provide financial insights tailored to a practice with multiple dentists, ensuring sustainable growth and operational efficiency.

    + Develop Proactive Financial Tools: Build forecasting and financial models designed to help the owner track key metrics and plan investments in other dental practices.

    + Educate the Business Owner: Guide the owner on critical financial metrics and strategies needed to make informed decisions about expanding.

    + Collaborate with Team Members: Work with an existing CPA who handles book closures and an internal Accounting Assistant responsible for data entry and general accounting support.

     

    About the Role: This is a unique opportunity to assist a dental entrepreneur in transitioning from reactive financial processes to a proactive managerial framework. By collaborating with the dentist-owner, you will play a key role in creating sustainable financial insights to support their current practice while facilitating their vision for expanding into the management of other practices.

    Requirements

    Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

    + Software: Proficient in Xero accounting software would be helpful.

    + Consulting Expertise: Prior experience in providing financial consulting services to small businesses, particularly within healthcare or dental practices, is REQUIRED.

    + Financial Modeling Skills: Demonstrated ability to create practical forecasting models and actionable financial frameworks.

    + Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA or CMA designation preferred but not required.

    + Soft Skills: Strong communication and teaching abilities to educate business owners on financial literacy and strategic decision-making tools.
