Job Overview:

Provide forensic assessments for children and perpetrators of interfamilial and non-familial sexual assault. Provide child and family therapy for child victims. Child perpetrators and co-victims of sexual assault. Provide crisis intervention and emergency services and Department of Pediatrics as needed.

Qualifications:

Required:

+ Master s degree (or higher) in psychology or social work

+ NJ Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC); Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); or License-eligible psychologist with NJ permit (Ph.D., Psy. D.)

Preferred:

+ Spanish speaking

Essential Functions:

+ Child maltreatment training and clinical experience a must

+ Psychosocial forensic assessments of children and adolescents referred for child maltreatment

+ Trauma-focused individual and group therapy to child victims and families

+ Timely, well integrated forensic psychosocial evaluations for DCPP and Deputy Attorney Generals (DAGs) as needed for court proceedings.

+ Crisis Intervention and emergency services to child victims and families as needed .

+ Maintaining patient medical charts; treatment plans with measurable objectives and outcomes.

+ Liaison with Multidisciplinary Teams in Child Advocacy Center

+ Training opportunities for child abuse and neglect education for community agencies.

+ Bi-monthly attendance at Metro RDTC Clinical and Staff Meetings
