Description
We are looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Architect to lead the design and implementation of a standalone data warehouse from the ground up. This long-term contract role is based in Boise, Idaho and requires a forward-thinking individual with deep expertise in data architecture and integration strategies. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in consolidating data from various platforms into a cohesive system, ensuring seamless access and insightful reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop a standalone data warehouse tailored to organizational needs.
• Evaluate and recommend tools and platforms, including Microsoft Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake.
• Integrate data from diverse sources such as NetSuite, QuickBase, Procore, Paylocity, and Greenhouse into a unified system.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data requirements and optimize reporting processes.
• Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of the data architecture.
• Provide strategic guidance on leveraging Snowflake, Databricks, Cosmos, or other relevant technologies.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data integration workflows and architecture.
• Lead efforts to clean, organize, and standardize scattered data assets.
• Train team members on effective use of data tools and warehouse functionalities.
• Monitor and optimize system performance for efficient data processing.
Requirements • A minimum of 7 years of experience in data architecture, integration, or related fields.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake.
• Familiarity with platforms such as NetSuite, QuickBase, Procore, Paylocity, and Greenhouse.
• Proven ability to design and implement data warehouses from scratch.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based solutions, including Microsoft Azure.
• Expertise in data warehousing tools such as Snowflake and Databricks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
