• Accounting Manager

    Description

    Are you a roll-up-your-sleeves type of Accounting Manager with a passion for both leadership and hands-on work? We’re a well-established manufacturing company seeking a seasoned accounting professional to lead our accounting function and support our continued growth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, month-end and year-end close processes

    + Manage and mentor a small team of accounting professionals

    + Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for internal stakeholders

    + Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and internal policies

    + Partner closely with operations and leadership teams on budgeting and forecasting

    + Lead process improvement initiatives and help implement systems and best practices

    SALARY RANGE: $100,000 - $120,000

    Requirements

    Must-Haves:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)

    + CPA license is not required but a plus

    + Prior experience with a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager title

    + Proven leadership experience with a hands-on management style

    + Broad accounting experience (must have handled everything except taxes)

    + Strong understanding of accounting systems and Excel
