Description We are looking for an Escrow Assistant to join our team in Santa Rosa, California. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will support escrow officers in ensuring the seamless completion of real estate transactions. This role involves a mix of administrative tasks, customer service, and compliance with policies and procedures to provide superior escrow services.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with pre-closing and post-closing tasks to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing.

• Provide administrative support by inputting figures, balancing lender information, handling disbursements, and preparing essential documentation.

• Serve as a point of contact between customers and all transaction parties, maintaining clear and consistent communication.

• Review contracts, commitments, and orders to assemble necessary documents for closings.

• Submit post-closing documents to lenders for funding and disbursement approvals.

• Ensure all parties receive finalized settlement statements before closing, following lender approval.

• Coordinate the collection and verification of information needed to finalize property sales or refinancing.

• Conduct electronic recordings with local county clerk offices as required.

• Maintain compliance with company policies and escalate complaints to the Escrow Manager when necessary.

• Foster positive relationships with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders involved in transactions. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent education.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and basic computer skills.

• Ability to learn and adopt escrow laws, industry best practices, and relevant regulations.

• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of escrow production software such as ResWare, RamQuest, or similar systems.

• Experience with mathematical concepts including fractions, percentages, and prorations.

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Previous experience in an escrow processing role is preferred but not required. TalentMatch®
